Youtube Videos Recording Tutorial

We all upload video on Youtube. Some adds video by uploading while some just record video using Youtube. You can do both whichever suits you. Adding a video is easy so in this tutorial we will be showing you how you can record a video using Youtube.

To start with, you must create your own channel first. Once you are done, you must go to “Stream Now” tab which looks like this,

Its recommended that you verify your Youtube channel. For that click on Get started button which you see on the above image.

Once you are done, click on Event menu. Once you are done, click on “New Live Menu” on top right.

Add the information regarding your video and click on “Go Live” when you are ready,

In the advance settings menu, you will get several other options like enable or disable live chat with the viewers, enable age restriction and many more. Use them wisely. Once you are done and press “Go Live Now”, you will be asked to confirm mentioning that you will have to enter Google Hangout to live stream the video.

You will get a screen like the image below. Here you can turn off your video anytime by clicking on the camera icon at the top of the screen. Similarly, you can also stop your mic. If you want to share your own screen like Skype, you can do that  by clicking on the left post icon beside the Mic icon. For screen sharing, you can choose the screen ration according to your wish by choosing from the options.

This recording is OFF Air or nobody else can see it at that moment. If you wish to show it to everyone, you need to press “Start broadcast”.

It’s pretty simple to use Youtube to record a video and it’s a great way too. The application that Youtube uses is really good. Also you can schedule an event that is you can add a reminder to record video on a certain time as well.
