Google is going to launch new Sign in interface

It appears that, Google is going to revamp its sign-in interface. The search giant will be rolling out the new user interface in order to keep the interface consistent across computers, phones, and tablets. The idea here is to give users a different way to explore Google, instead of requiring the entry of a voice or text search query. This new interface will be available for users in next few weeks.

As per the company’s support page, a new interface will come with a cleaner, easier look and more user-friendly. Along with that, the new design will be responsive, allowing it to format better on a variety of screen sizes. The main thing is to make the process faster although the sing-in process is still same. Users will still need to type in their email address or phone number and then their password — and then use any two-factor authentication system that they’ve previously enabled. So the functionality will not change but the experience will look different.

People will see it when they’re logging in from a Google app or via a browser such as Chrome. The company notes that users may continue to see the old sign-in page if they use an older version of a browser, or have JavaScript turned off. Google has already begun informing people that this new UI will be rolling out over the next few weeks, so don’t panic if your sign-in page suddenly looks different. The company is also showing a small notification on the current sign-in page to notify users of the coming change but it would take few more weeks to apply to all users.
